It's interesting, about the only time I can work up motivation to blog lately is when I'm preparing to see my husband again. We are leaving in just a couple of days to see him, and I can't wait. Well, I can, but things are dragging on as I do our laundry and wait patiently. Or not so patiently. I've always been a romantic, and have thoroughly enjoyed having myself a Valentine the past 6 years. But this year, my kids will be my Valentines, and that will be all right. Which reminds me, I still have about 20 more valentines to help Joel with for his class party tomorrow.
Speaking of my Joel, we had a parent teacher conference call today. And one of the stories just made me chuckle: Joel went over to the "dramatic play" area and picked up a baby doll. This doll just happened to be an African-American doll, and after looking her over, Joel declared her "chocolate". He then shut the doll's eyes and rocked her, saying "shh shh" and laid her in a crib. What a sweet boy, it almost makes up for all the times he pummels little Charlotte flat to the floor.

| Aunt Kelcie bought Joel this outfit, which he affectionately calls "Ma Kwee!" |
 |
| Having fun with mama's phone. Just imagine the fun we had when we were all home sick-- bunch of sad, pathetic looking faces! |
 |
| Absolutely adorable. Her hair is starting to show a little curl, and I just love it. |

| Poor baby ended up with a double ear infection, a virus, and roseola. The rash got worse looking than this before it got better, but she's finally healthy and happy again (after two antibiotics and THREE dr. visits, sheesh!) |
