Just a few photos from our two week vacation. We pent some time in St. George with my parents and sister, then headed to Disneyland to see Rob's parents and three of his sister (plus one brother in law). A short recap:
* We drove to St. George with my sister, who sadly left her wallet at our last pit stop. So she spent the entire St. George trip without any money, poor girl.
* My dad cured Joel of his water fear (which was started the LAST time we were in St. George). As of right now, my boy loves the water but is still cautious. A perfect mix, if you ask me.
* My dad treated us to seeing "The Little Mermaid" at the Tuacahn theater. Definitely awesome, we had a ton of fun and left singing show tunes.
* My kids loved snuggling with Grandma and Grandpa-- to the point where think my mom has a permanent crook in her arm from holding Charlotte so much.

| On our way to meet Rob's family in California, Rob let us stop in Calico, CA. It's a ghost town tourist attraction, and it pretty much made my day. Here are my kids testing out the "haunted rocking chairs" (they rock by themselves, oooooh.) |
| Rob and Joel panning for gold. Joel loved the icky mud and water part, and focused on letting Rob actually find the gold. Nice of him, isn't it? |
| Yep, I totally subjected my children to an "Old West" picture. It's one of my favorite things ever. |
| This character breakfast was hilarious. My kids didn't know who any of the characters were (we don't have Disney channel), so they were a little nervous. |
| I love this picture. Joel was so focused on pushing the buttons on Buzz's suit. It was adorable! |
| One of our favorites, Handy Manny |
| She loves her fairy godmother! |
| Yup, nervous to meet the characters. So nervous they both ended up chewing on the puppy. |
| Our favorite monster, Sully. I didn't get a picture of it, but the Monsters Inc. ride was Joel's absolute favorite. I think we rode the ride 5 or 6 times and he would go all day if he could. |
| Costumes for the Disney Halloween Party. This was one of the best Halloween things I have ever done, and that is saying alot! Joel loved the fireworks, the parade, and the treats. He was so cute, and Rob and I loved watching HIM have a good time. Win win! |
| Rob's family dressed up for the party. |
So we had a fantastic two weeks and it was super sad to see our vacation end. I've been trying to get some Halloween fun in before Rob has to start back up with his rotations, so that's another post.
