Ok, so I am a little behind. Sorry about thtat. I'm back tracking a little, obviously, trying to think of what we did for the 4th of July. Here are some pictures:
Whew. The 4th of July is one of my all-time favorite holidays. And of course, e had fun. Had a little barbecue over here and invited some friends. We had our festive food-- red white and blue strawberries, hot dogs and hamburgers, apple crisp, delicious cookies and treats.... it was great. I had to turn on "A Capitol 4th" on PBS-- it's tradition in my family to watch that on the 4th of July. And of course we were all dressed in our patriotic colors. The real fun started with our own little explosive fireworks-- Joel threw up all over the floor and soaking my sister as well. Turns out my son has a tendency to drink too much water while swimming and the consequence is usually very.... gross. We ended the evening with some fabulous fireworks of the light up variety. It was so fun to get together with everyone, although we missed the Robertsons and the Matthews!

The Fourth just wasn't the same without you guys! Glad you had a fun time, though. Your kids are getting so big! I can't wait to see them soon. :)
